The Hearing Loss Association of America is an educational and advocacy organization of people working together to promote issues of importance to those who have a hearing loss.
Hold the date for their 2007 regional conference: October 5-7, 2007, to be held at the Harrisburg Hilton in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This conference will be hosted by the members of the New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware state associations and offices. Ed McGibbon is the New York state representative on the planning committee. Ed indicates that a great program is being prepared and he hopes many New Yorkers will attend.
All are welcome to volunteer with their time, skills and knowledge. Some of the committees that still need volunteers include: transportation, shopping, raffle, publicity and marketing. For more information about volunteering or attending, contact Mr. McGibbon.
